Starting our ride from Bled, we cross the Pokljuka plateau and stop at Lake Bohinj, where a picturesque church sits right next to the lake. The ride takes one hour, and we make a stop for about 20 min at Lake Bohinj.
After another hour of riding, we begin our climb up to the mountain village of Dražgoše, we are reminded of its tragic history by a large World War 2 monument. We take a 20 min break at the monument.
After a short ride of 20 min, we enter the medieval blacksmith town of Kropa, where wrought iron adorns the houses to this day. There we make a 20 min stop.
After 30 min we reach our final stop, a 12th century castle in Begunje. We take 30 min to admire the castle, then begin to make our way back to Bled.
